The Setup – Boot & Ante
Before any cards are dealt at the 888games Teen Patti table, every player places a mandatory initial bet called the boot amount. Calling, Raising, and Folding
Play proceeds clockwise. On your turn, you have three options: call (match the current bet), raise (increase the current bet), or fold (surrender your boot and exit the hand). The pot grows with every call and raise. The last player remaining after all others fold wins the pot automatically – their hand never needs to be shown. If two players remain, either can request a showdown (called a "show"), where hands are compared and the higher-ranking hand wins.

Winning the Hand
There are two ways to win in Teen Patti at 888games. The first is to be the last player standing after all others have folded. The second is to have the highest-ranking three-card hand at showdown. The hand rankings are fixed and listed in the section below. Ties are broken by card suit priority (Spades > Hearts > Diamonds > Clubs) when hands are otherwise equal.
